Issues using Calendarix Licensed Version when creating more than 2 users

Hi everyone,

We have the installed wampserver2 with PHP Ver 5.3.0, Apache 2.2.11, MySQL 5.1.36
We had downloaded the demo version till we got the license. Then after getting the license file, we ran it as per instructions and it installed fine. (calendarix ver 1.8.20081228)
Now the trouble is, if we log in and do something (say add 2 users) it works. And then suddenly it stops responding and the browser goes into a loop. It works again after we clear cache and close wamp and restart it.

The apache logs say the following things

[error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: C:/wamp/www/calendarix/advanced, referer: http://localhost/calendarix/cal_login.php

We don't have an advanced folder in our Calendrix folder?!? Are missing something?

[error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: C:/wamp/www/calendarix/css_dhtmlsuite, referer: http://localhost/calendarix/admin/calendar.php

Any suggestion for this error? These files are located in the javascript folder but are not picked up correctly.

This is the error log for the loop when adding more than 3 users or while loggin in again in an existing session
[notice] Child 5568: Acquired the start mutex.
[notice] Child 5568: Starting 64 worker threads.
[notice] Child 5568: Starting thread to listen on port 80.

[error] [client 127.0.0.1] File does not exist: C:/wamp/www/calendarix/advanced, referer: http://localhost/calendarix/cal_login.php?op=logout

We have read all readme's and forum posts but couldn't find anything helpful. Help on this will be really appreciated. At the current stage Calendarix is not useable for us since it is not working which is fairly disappoint. Thank you very much in advance.

Cheers,

Dearest all,

I am a first time poster. Thanks to the webmaster for approving my registration.

We are currently testing out the Basic Calendar to see how much it fits into our need before going Advanced.

For the most part, it does.

However, there is a critical component that help tip our hand one way or another.

We want to display the mini calendar (minical.php) on every page; each page represents a category. We have 53 categories.

We want to display each mini calendar on each page and we want it to display ONLY events specific to whatever the category that page represents.

Can this be done. If yes, what needs to change?

Thank you very, very much in advance.

Forms clear their values after about a minute. It's as if there is a settimeout that times out and clears the values. This happens on the search page also.

Where can I look to make this stop. Obviously the admin login should timeout after a reasonable time be that an hour or 24 hours but a form should retain its values unless that login time out is hit. In other words, I should be able to start the entry for an event, make a phone call for details that last 10 minutes, then continue entering data on the form without having to start over.

Has anyone else experienced or fix this?

Thanks!

I’m having an interesting issue with the mini calendar and the mouse over popup JavaScript. I'm sure it's a programming issue.

The popup on the minical displays outside of the div where the calendar is included. Perhaps 200px down and 200px to the right. So far off the screen, in fact, that it expands the page in the browser.

I’ve checked for all the obvious conflicts such as js, id and class name conflicts. The only hint I can give is that if I change the holding div tag position from relative, it just doesn’t appear at all (which could mean it’s z-indexed behind the calendar, I don't know). Of course, this changes the page appearance so it's not a solution. This does not appear to happen when using tables for a page structure.

Any good ideas?

Thanks

I need to do this exact type of linking via tha calendar subject, and I notice the exact behavior you described when linking directly via the subject line. This seems to be an increasing request of clients to be able to have the option of simply adding an event title that links to an external site (for thigs such as off-domain event signup forms, etc.).

Is it possible to add this functionallity possibly as a toggle when adding/editing an event without removing accessibility to the event admin? Possibly adding a small icon to the side of the event linking to the event when in Admin mode..?
